10/16/2026 - Introducing UAD 3.6 — A New Dynamic Appraisal Report
A new appraisal process is coming on October 19 at 5 pm CT. The Wholesale channel will begin ordering appraisals using UAD 3.6, which replaces legacy forms with one data-driven report. The new format uses structured data fields to provide greater transparency.
The mandatory adoption date for Conventional appraisals is November 2, 2026, for all lenders. This is an industry-wide modernization and is not unique to Newrez.
What’s Changing?
-
The appraisal’s look and layout will change.
-
One dynamic report adjusts based on the property type, inspection, and assignment.
What’s Not Changing?

-
Appraisals will be uploaded to the same folder in EFM.
-
If ordered on the new UAD 3.6 format, the completed appraisal will be on the new form.
